From Reformation's times lives Unitarians in Jobbagyfalva and still 1951 the congregation it belongs to Church with Nyaradszentmarton. The most ancestral object of the Church is a small bell from 1679, what is donated by daughter of Janos Sarosi in year of 1711. This small bell was used the first time in the belfry and after the year of 1829, when the congregation's chapel was build this small bell was put in to the tower. This small bell - with the second bell we will mention on his topic - from this year is calling the congregation to the Sunday worship to the chapel build between 1936-1938. About history of Jobbagyfalva we can study the document of Balazs Orban from the "Description of Szekler Land". As well from handwriting documents of Mozes Boros (1893-1973) used to be the cantor of this congregation we can learn about the history of this place. From Dr. Lajos Kocsis - who has borne in this village and today is a dentist in Sepsiszentgyorgy - also has written pages of history of Jobbagyfalva, written in "Aluta" edited by the Museum of Sepsiszentgyorgy in the year of 1974-1975. The monograph from the year of starting the separate church is writen by Rev. Denes Szasz in " 302 year of history of Unitarian Congregation in Jobbagyfalva " and it was edited in Kereszteny Magveto in year of 1981 in class 876 number 4 . Rev. Sandor Szen in 141/2000 wrote a short history of church. This small writing is based to his worlds mostly. The congregation has had a chapel before he would start the separately congregational life. The works build temple on land donated by secretary Jeno Nagy between 1936-1938 in the service year of Zsigmond Mate, when the curators used to be Pal Balogh and Gyorgy Laszlo . The members of that time mostly passed away, many of them were martyr of Second War World. In the congregation still lives, which in that times were young and they still remember those gloriously times of the congregation. From donations of members were collected 90-100.000 leis in that times what summa were nice money. Nearby with Chapel were the Unitarian School, what were nationalized in 1948 and it was lost from the church. Still 1996 used to be Kindergarten, but because of bad shapes the building became unusable. About this topic and about our future's plan you can read in our homepage on Storm's Haven. It is interesting to mention that in 5 of March of 1951 on the big congregational meetings Rev. Attila Simo has greeted the gatherings. " The "filia" (see you about "filia" in Nyaradszereda's church history also in this homepage) of Nyaradszentmarton, the congregation in Jobbagyfalva has developed very soon in this past four year. The habits of members are as a good example to many of us. Their old whish is to become a separately church it seems headed. The history of Church can divide in four parts. Rev. Sandor Szen makes this dividing.

Part one:

The beginnings: buying parish house, repairs of tower, having cups and plates for Lord's Supper, buying the wardrobe for documents… are talking about the devotion of members.

Part two:

The part of continuations: build outbuildings nearby parish, electricity supply, the white washing of temple, the repainting of desks in the temple. Etc.
Part tree: the part of repairs of parish and of temple,

Part four: the part of getting expanse: decoration of temple with arts of handwork, repairs of temple outside and inside as well the parish house and building a new room into parish house.

Part five: From 1 December of 2003, when Rev. Szilard Sandor became the new minister of church. I would call this part the incessant time of present. From the new plans you can read in this homepage also, as a heritage of this congregation. We demolished the ex Unitarian old building with voluntary work for church, we have this homepage and email, and we have dreams of hopes with building a Storm's Haven to renew the place with a Home of Service were the Unitarian School used to be. The congregation is unable to make such of effort to build this building, as a continuation and as own being for future. The donations are welcome, and in that new building we plan to make host rooms also for those who may hope to hope with us, and who may serve to serve with us the community and the faith which makes life nicer and better. The church has a newsletter called Hazanezunk, what means, "We look to our homes", translated literally, may we can name "Homing".

Please contact sszialrd@lorinfo.ro about your suggestions and your whish of help to us. We will come later with our plan and with account numbers.
